Newsday finally had its’ Field of Wheels on May 17th after a previous Saturday of a drenching rain postponement. I noticed a few antiques like Model T’s, one Packard, no Oldsmobile’s but many beautiful muscle cars. There were about 600 cars on the gigantic lawn of Newsday. The personnel were so kind and directive and the cars were so beautiful with the nicest public. As for my 1980 Celica, so many people said ” my father or mother had this car” or “my wife learned to drive on this car.” I was so glad they didn’t say their GRANDMOTHER had this car and date me.
Anyway I took some photos that I hope you may enjoy……
